This certificate needs to be completed within one year term from the date of registration for the certificate. This includes completion of all the components below:

  • Art of Negotiation – Virtual Interactive Workshop
  • Ethics: Social and Environmental Responsibility – Virtual Interactive Workshop
  • Risk Management – Virtual Interactive Workshop
  • Effective Leadership – Virtual Interactive Workshop
  • Operations and Process Design Management - Self-Study Module
  • Certificate Final Exam (available on demand upon registration)

Full program + Exam

The full program provides a structured learning experience through expert instruction, applied course content, and peer engagement. It is typically completed over 6–8 months and leads to the awarding of the NISCL Certificate of Completion. While you can complete the certificate in 6-8 months, you have a whole year to pace out your learning.

Exam Only

Experienced professionals who do not require the full instructional component may elect to register for the Challenge Exam Pathway. Successful candidates will be awarded the NISCL Certificate of Completion. Candidates who do not achieve a passing grade will be required to complete the full program prior to re-assessment.

Impor­tant Details and Conditions

Program Completion Timeline

Participants have up to one (1) year to complete all certificate requirements, including the final examination.


Cancellation and Refund Policy (Certificate Registration)

Certificate purchases are non-refundable.


Workshop Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the scheduled workshop date. A cancellation fee of $100 applies.


Module Access and Completion

Each module must be completed within nine (9) weeks of enrolment.


Assessment and Passing Requirements

A minimum grade of 70% is required to successfully earn the certificate. Participants who do not meet the passing standard on the first attempt are permitted one (1) reattempt, which is completed through D2L. No additional registration is required.


Confirmation and Access to Learning Platform

Upon registration, participants will receive an automated confirmation email containing a certificate access code and registration details for upcoming workshops.


Within two (2) business days, participants will also receive a separate email confirming activation of access to the D2L learning platform.


Once access has been granted, participants may log into the NISCL member portal to access registered modules, workshops, and the final examination.
